Giants Sign Ronny Cedeno
The San Francisco Giants signed infielder Ronny Cedeno to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Cedeno, 32, has played in 875 career games for the Chicago Cubs, Seattle Mariners, Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Mets, Houston Astros, San Diego Padres, and Philadelphia Phillies. He has a career batting average of .245 with 40 home runs and 239 runs batted in.
