Joe Saunders Opts Out
Pitcher Joe Saunders has opted out of his minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners and is now a free agent. Saunders, 33,, has pitched in 235 career games for the Angels, Diamondbacks, Orioles, Mariners, and Rangers. He has a career record of (89-86) with a 4.37 ERA. He has pitched nine complete games in his career and three of them were shutouts. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2008 as a member of the Los Angeles Angels.
