The Washington Nationals acquired outfielder Darin Mastroianni from the Philadelphia Phillies in exchange for cash considerations. Mastroianni, 29, has played in 129 career games for the Toronto Blue Jays and Minnesota Twins. He has a career batting average of .212 with four home runs and 24 runs batted in.
