Athletics Acquire Matt Carson
The Oakland Athletics acquired outfielder Matt Carson from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for cash considerations. Carson, 33, has played in 92 career games for the Athletics, Twins, and Indians. He has a career batting average of .237 with six home runs and 21 runs batted in. He has not appeared in a Major League game since the 2013 season.
