Giants Designate Travis Ishikawa for Assignment
The San Francisco Giants designated first baseman Travis Ishikawa for assignment. Ishikawa, 31, has played in 444 career games for the Giants, Brewers, Orioles, Yankees, and Pirates. He has a career batting average of .259 with 22 home runs and 129 runs batted in. He won the World Series as a member of the Giants in the 2010 and the 2014 seasons.
