Indians Sign Carlos Marmol
The Cleveland Indians signed pitcher Carlos Marmol to a minor league contract. Marmol, 32, has pitched in 519 career games for the Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Miami Marlins. He has a career record of (23-35) with a 3.57 ERA and 117 saves. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2008 season as a member of the Chicago Cubs.
