Jeff Karstens Retires
Former Major League pitcher Jeff Karstens has retired. Karstens, 32, pitched in 138 career games for the New York Yankees and Pittsburgh Pirates. He has a career record of (26-40) with a 4.44 ERA. He pitched two complete games in his career and both of them were shutouts. He last appeared in an MLB game in the 2012 season.
