Padres Release Josh Bell
The San Diego Padres released infielder Josh Bell. Bell, 28, has played in 100 career games for the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks. He has a career batting average of .195 with four home runs and 22 runs batted in. He has not appeared in a Major League game since the 2012 season.
