Kevin Correia Elects Free Agency
Pitcher Kevin Correia has opted out of his minor league contract with the San Francisco Giants and is now a free agent. Correia, 34, has pitched in 353 games for the Giants, Padres, Pirates, Twins, and Dodgers. He has a career record of (76-95) with a 4.59 ERA. He has pitched two complete games in his career and one of them was a shutout. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2011 as a member of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
