Pirates Acquire Scahill
The Pittsburgh Pirates have acquired pitcher Rob Scahill from the Colorado Rockies in exchange for pitcher Shane Carle. Scahill, 28 in February, has spent parts of the past three seasons with the Colorado Rockies. In 41 games, Scahill has compiled a record of (2-0) with a 4.42 ERA. Carle, 23, was the Pirates' tenth round draft pick in 2013. Carle split the 2014 season with the West Virginia Power and Bradenton Marauders. Carle compiled a record of (4-8) with a 3.67 ERA in 27 games in the 2014 season.
