Cubs Reliever Pedro Strop Involved in Car Accident

Chicago Cubs reliever Pedro Strop was involved in a car accident in the Dominican Republic. Not to panic, Strop did not suffer any significant injuries. He needed a few stitches on his left arm. The 29-year-old reliever has pitched in 246 career games with the Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles, and Chicago Cubs. He has a career record of (11-12) with a 3.41 ERA and six saves.

  1. I hope he is alright. I wonder how this happened? Will the Chicago Cubs ever be good or have a decent record in the MLB? I bet if this was a team that was not located in a major city, then they would have been moved by now, but Chicago is a major place for the 4 major sports, but they need to start putting something together. It seems like they are cursed for years to come or have seem like they have.
