Rockies Sign Two to Minors Deals

The Colorado Rockies signed pitchers Brett Marshall and Aaron Laffey to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Marshall, 24, made his Major League debut with the New York Yankees in 2013 where he appeared in three games. In 12 innings pitched, he gave up six earned runs, 13 hits, seven walks, and seven strikeouts. He has a career ERA of 4.50. Laffey, 29, has pitched in 153 career games with the Cleveland Indians, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, and New York Mets. He has a career record of (25-29) with a 4.45 ERA and one save.
