Two Pirates Win Silver Slugger Awards

Pirates outfielder Andrew McCutchen and infielder Neil Walker have each won a Silver Slugger Award. McCutchen, 28, played in 146 games in the 2014 season and had a batting average of .314 with 25 home runs and 83 runs batted in. McCutchen has won a Silver Slugger Award for three-straight seasons. Walker, 29, played in 137 games in the 2014 season and had a batting average of .271 with 23 home runs and 76 runs batted in. Walker's Silver Slugger Award is the first that he has won in his Major League career. Congratulations to both players!
