Tigers Acquire Gose
The Detroit Tigers acquired outfielder Anthony Gose from the Toronto Blue Jays in exchange for infielder prospect Devon Travis. Gose, 24, has spent parts of the past four seasons with the Blue Jays. In 202 games, Gose has a career batting average of .234 with five home runs and 36 runs batted in. Devon Travis, 24 in February, was the Tigers' 13th round pick in the 2012 Major League Draft. Travis spent the 2014 season with the Double-A Erie SeaWolves. In 100 games, Travis hit .298 with 10 home runs and 52 runs batted in.
