Pirates Claim Pedro Florimon Off Waivers
The Pittsburgh Pirates claimed infielder Pedro Florimon off waivers from the Washington Nationals. Florimon, 28 in December, has played in 214 career games with the Baltimore Orioles and Minnesota Twins. He has a career batting average of .204 with 10 home runs and 57 runs batted in.
Did this player for the Nationals, or did he just play for Orioles and the Twins? I hope he is good for the Pirates. I can see that a lot of signings and trades are happening in the MLB off season.
