Pirates Agree to Terms With Jung-ho Kang
The Pittsburgh Pirates have agreed to terms with Korean shortstop Jung-ho Kang on a four-year deal worth $16 million guarantee. The deal also includes a fifth-year option. Kang, 27, has played in 902 career games in the Korean Baseball Organization. He has a career batting average of .298 with 139 home runs and 545 runs batted in. Kang will be in Pittsburgh to have his physical and to complete the deal on Thursday.
