Rockies Acquire Hale, Schlosser in Four-Player Trade

The Colorado Rockies acquired pitchers David Hale and Gus Schlosser from the Atlanta Braves in exchange for catchers Jose Briceno and Chris O'Dowd. Hale, 27, has pitched in 47 career games for the Braves. He has a career record of (5-5) with a 3.02 ERA. Schlosser, 26, made his Major League debut with the Braves in 2014. In 15 games, he compiled a record of (0-1) with a 7.64 ERA. Briceno, 22, spent the 2014 season with Class-A Asheville. In 84 games, he hit .283 with 12 home runs and 50 runs batted in. O'Dowd, 24, split the 2014 season with Class-A Modesto and Double-A Tulsa. In 113 games, he hit .271 with five home runs and 48 runs batted in.
