Nationals Sign Evan Meek
The Washington Nationals signed pitcher Evan Meek to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Meek, 31, has pitched in 179 career games for the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles. He has a career record of (7-11) with a 3.63 ERA and four saves. He was selected to the 2010 All Star Game as a member of the Pirates.
