Red Sox Sign Two to Minors Deals

The Boston Red Sox signed pitcher Felipe Paulino and first baseman Bryan LaHair to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Paulino, 31, has pitched in 97 career games for the Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, Kansas City Royals, and Chicago White Sox. He has a career record of (13-34) with a 5.22 ERA. LaHair, 32, has played in 195 career games for the Seattle Mariners and Chicago Cubs. He has a career batting average of .260 with 21 home runs and 56 runs batted in. He was selected to the All Star Game in 2012 as a member of the Cubs.
