Red Sox Sign Alexi Ogando
The Boston Red Sox signed pitcher Alexi Ogando to a one-year contract worth $1.5 million guaranteed. Ogando, 31, has pitched in 183 career games for the Texas Rangers. He has a career record of (28-16) with a 3.35 ERA and four saves. He pitched a complete-game shutout in the 2011 season. He was also selected to his first All Star Game that year.
