Rangers Acquire Carlos Corporan
The Texas Rangers acquired catcher Carlos Corporan from the Houston Astros in exchange for pitcher Akeem Bostick. Corporan, 31, has played in 199 career games for the Milwaukee Brewers and Houston Astros. He has a career batting average of .226 with 17 home runs and 63 runs batted in. Bostick, 19, spent the 2014 season with Class-A Hickory. In 21 games, he compiled a record of (5-6) with a 5.18 ERA.
