Rockies Sign Jair Jurrjens
The Colorado Rockies signed pitcher Jair Jurrjens to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Jurrjens, 29 on Thursday, has pitched in 130 career games for the Detroit Tigers, Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, and Colorado Rockies. He has a career record of (53-38) with a 3.72 ERA. He pitched two complete games in his career and one of them was a shutout. He was selected to his first All Star Game in 2011 as a member of the Braves.
