Marlins Sign Three to Minors Deals

The Miami Marlins signed pitchers Vin Mazzaro, Ryan Reid, and Pat Misch to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Mazzaro, 28, has pitched in 128 career games for the Oakland Athletics, Kansas City Royals, and Pittsburgh Pirates. He has a career record of (23-23) with a 4.69 ERA and one save. Reid, 29, made his Major League debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2013. In seven games, he did not record a decision, but he had a 1.64 ERA and one save. Misch, 33, has pitched in 78 career games for the San Francisco Giants and New York Mets. He has a career record of (4-15) with a 4.80 ERA. He pitched a complete-game shutout in 2009 with the Mets.
