Braves Sign John Buck
The Atlanta Braves signed catcher John Buck to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Buck, 34, has played in 1090 career games for the Royals, Blue Jays, Marlins, Mets, Pirates, Mariners, and Angels. He has a career batting average of .234 with 134 home runs and 491 runs batted in. He was selected to the All Star Game in 2011 as a member of the Toronto Blue Jays.
