White Sox Sign Geovany Soto
The Chicago White Sox signed catcher Geovany Soto to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Soto, 32, has played in 680 career games for the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, and Oakland Athletics. He has a career batting average of .248 with 92 home runs and 322 runs batted in. He was a 2008 All Star selection and he was the 2008 National League Rookie of the Year.
