Nationals Acquire Dan Butler
The Washington Nationals acquire catcher Dan Butler from the Boston Red Sox in exchange for pitcher Daniel Rosenbaum. Butler, 28, made his Major League debut with the Red Sox in 2014. In seven games, he hit .211 with no home runs and two runs batted in. Rosenbaum, 27, spent the 2014 season with Triple-A Syracuse. In four games, he compiled a record of (1-1) with a 4.50 ERA.
