Red Sox Sign Dana Eveland
The Boston Red Sox signed pitcher Dana Eveland to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Eveland, 31, has pitched in 144 career games for the Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, Pittsburgh Pirates, Los Angeles Dodgers, Baltimore Orioles, and New York Mets. He has a career record of (20-26) with a 5.27 ERA and two saves. He pitched a complete game in 2008 with the Athletics.
