Pirates Invite Two to Spring Training
The Pittsburgh Pirates invited infielder Brent Morel and outfielder Jose Tabata to spring training. Morel, 27, has played in 217 career games for the Chicago White Sox and the Pirates. He has a career batting average of .226 with 13 home runs and 58 runs batted in. Tabata, 26, has played in 482 career games for the Pirates. He has a career batting average of .275 with 17 home runs and 122 runs batted in.
