Blue Jays Sign Two to Minors Deals
The Toronto Blue Jays signed pitcher Ronald Belisario and infielder Ramon Santiago to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Belisario, 32, has pitched in 335 career games for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox. He has a career record of (24-20) with a 3.75 ERA and 12 saves. Santiago, 35, has played in 920 career games for the Detroit Tigers, Seattle Mariners, and Cincinnati Reds. He has a career batting average of .243 with 30 home runs and 214 runs batted in.
