Rangers Sign Two to Minors Deals
The Texas Rangers signed infielder Guilder Rodriguez and outfielder Carlos Peguero to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Rodriguez, 31, made his Major League debut with the Rangers in 2014. In seven games, he hit .167 with no home runs and one run batted in. Peguero, 28 in February, has played in 69 career games for the Seattle Mariners and Kansas City Royals. He has a career batting average of .196 with nine home runs and 28 runs batted in.
