Orioles Sign Two to Minors Deals
The Baltimore Orioles signed first baseman Chris Parmelee and pitcher Dane De La Rosa to minor league contracts with invitations to spring training. Parmelee, 27 in February, has played in 273 career games for the Minnesota Twins. He has a career batting average of .249 with 24 home runs and 85 runs batted in. De La Rosa, 32 on Sunday, has pitched in 90 career games for the Tampa Bay Rays and Los Angeles Angels. He has a career record of (6-1) with a 4.24 ERA and two saves.
