Dodgers Make Three Moves

The Los Angeles Dodgers claimed pitcher Preston Guilmet off waivers from the Tampa Bay Rays. Guilmet, 27, has pitched in 17 career games for the Indians, Orioles, and Rays. He has a career record of (0-1) with a 6.43 ERA. To make room, the Dodgers designated pitcher Chris Reed for assignment. Reed, 25, has split the 2015 season with Double-A Tulsa and Triple-A Oklahoma City. He has compiled a record of (2-2) with a 5.97 ERA and one save. The Dodgers also released pitcher Brandon League. League, 32, has pitched in 498 career games for the Blue Jays, Mariners, and Dodgers. He has a career record of (27-35) with a 3.65 ERA and 74 saves. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2011 season as a member of the Seattle Mariners.
