Orioles Acquire Gerardo Parra
The Baltimore Orioles acquired outfielder Gerardo Parra from the Milwaukee Brewers in exchange for pitcher Zach Davies. Parra, 28, has played in 933 career games for the Diamondbacks and Brewers. He has a career batting average of .279 with 51 home runs and 291 runs batted in. He is a two-time Gold Glove Award winner. Davies, 22, has compiled a record of (5-6) with a 2.84 ERA in 19 games with Triple-A Norfolk this season.
