Cubs, Orioles Swap Hunter, Lake
The Chicago Cubs acquired pitcher Tommy Hunter from the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for outfielder Junior Lake. Hunter, 29, has pitched in 265 career games for the Rangers and Orioles. He has a career record of (44-33) with a 4.28 ERA and 15 saves. He has pitched two complete games in his career. Lake, 25, has played in 193 career games for the Cubs. He has a career batting average of .241 with 16 home runs and 46 runs batted in.
