Dodgers, Braves, and Marlins Complete Three-Team Trade

The Los Angeles Dodgers acquired pitcher Mat Latos and infielder/outfielder Michael Morse from the Miami Marlins and infielder/outfielder Jose Peraza and pitchers Alex Wood, Jim Johnson, and Luis Avilan from the Atlanta Braves. Latos, 27, has pitched in 169 career games for the Padres, Reds, and Marlins. He has a career record of (64-52) with a 3.43 ERA. He has pitched four complete games in his career and one of them was a shutout. Morse, 33, has played in 756 career games for the Mariners, Nationals, Orioles, Giants, and Marlins. He has a career batting average of .277 with 103 home runs and 345 runs batted in. He won the World Series as a member of the San Francisco Giants in the 2014 season. Peraza, 21, has hit .294 with three home runs and 37 RBI in 96 games with Triple-A Gwinnett this season. Wood, 24, has pitched in 86 career games for the Braves. He has a career record of (21-20) with a 3.10 ERA. He has pitched one complete game in his career. Johnson, 32, has pitched in 463 career games for the Orioles, Athletics, Tigers, and Braves. He has a career record of (25-31) with a 3.45 ERA and 133 saves. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2012 season as a member of the Baltimore Orioles. Avilan, 26, has pitched in 218 career games for the Braves. He has a career record of (12-5) with a 2.77 ERA. The Atlanta Braves acquired pitchers Paco Rodriguez and Zachary Bird and infielder Hector Olivera from the Los Angeles Dodgers, as well as the Marlins' Competitive Balance Round A Pick in the 2016 MLB Draft. Rodriguez, 24, has pitched in 124 career games for the Dodgers. He has a career record of (4-5) with a 2.53 ERA and two saves. Bird, 21, has compiled a record of (5-7) with a 4.75 ERA in 19 games with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga this season. Olivera, 30, has split this season with the Arizona League Dodgers, Double-A Tulsa, and Triple-A Oklahoma City. In 19 games, he has hit .348 with two home runs and seven runs batted in. The Marlins acquired pitchers Kevin Guzman, Jeff Brigham, and Victor Araujo from the Dodgers. Guzman, 20, has compiled a record of (5-7) with a 3.90 ERA in 17 games with Class-A Great Lakes this season. Brigham, 23, has split this season with Class-A Great Lakes and Class-A Rancho Cucamonga this season. In 19 games, he has compiled a record of (6-5) with a 5.52 ERA. Araujo, 22, has compiled a record of (3-3) with a 5.40 ERA in 32 games with Class-A Rancho Cucamonga this season.
