Yankees Acquire Dustin Ackley
The New York Yankees acquired infielder Dustin Ackley from the Seattle Mariners in exchange for outfielder Ramon Flores and pitcher Jose Ramirez. Ackley, 27, has played in 584 career games for the Mariners. He has a career batting average of .243 with 42 home runs and 201 runs batted in. Flores, 23, made his Major League debut with the Yankees this season. In 12 games, he has hit .219 with no home runs and no runs batted in. Ramirez, 25, has pitched in 11 career games for the Yankees. He has a career record of (0-2) with a 7.62 ERA.
