Red Sox Acquire Ryan Cook
The Boston Red Sox acquired pitcher Ryan Cook from the Oakland Athletics in exchange for a player to be named later. Cook, 28, has pitched in 212 career games for the Diamondbacks and Athletics. He has a career record of (13-12) with a 2.93 ERA and 17 saves. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2012 season as a member of the Oakland Athletics.
