Blue Jays Acquire David Price in Four-Player Trade

The Toronto Blue Jays acquired pitcher David Price from the Detroit Tigers in exchange for pitchers Daniel Norris, Matt Boyd, and Jairo Labourt. Price, 29, has pitched in 207 career games for the Rays and Tigers. He has a career record of (95-55) with a 3.13 ERA. He has pitched 14 complete games in his career and three of them were shutouts. He is a five-time All Star selection and he was the 2012 American League Cy Young Award winner. Norris, 22, has pitched in 10 career games for the Blue Jays. He has a career record of (1-1) with a 4.20 ERA. Boyd, 24, made his Major League debut with the Blue Jays this season. In two games, he compiled a record of (0-2) with a 14.85 ERA. Labourt, 21, has compiled a record of (2-7) with a 4.59 ERA in 18 games with Class-A Dunedin this season.
