Cardinals Acquire Brandon Moss

The St. Louis Cardinals acquired first baseman/outfielder Brandon Moss from the Cleveland Indians in exchange for pitcher Rob Kaminsky. Moss, 31, has played in 719 career games for the Red Sox, Pirates, Phillies, Athletics, and Indians. He has a career batting average of .243 with 106 home runs and 348 runs batted in. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2014 season as a member of the Oakland Athletics. Kaminsky, 20, has compiled a record of (6-5) with a 2.09 ERA in 17 games with Class-A Palm Beach this season.
