Yankees Designate Chris Capuano for Assignment
The New York Yankees designated pitcher Chris Capuano for assignment. Capuano, 36, has pitched in 294 career games for the Diamondbacks, Brewers, Mets, Dodgers, Red Sox, and Yankees. He has a career record of (76-91) with a 4.34 ERA. He has pitched four complete games in his career and three of them were shutouts. He was selected to his first All Star Game in the 2006 season as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers.
