Marlins Interested in Ike Davis?
There is a rumor floating around that the Miami Marlins are potentially interested in Pirates first baseman Ike Davis. Davis spent a majority of the 2014 season with the Pirates, having started the year with the New York Mets. In 2014, Davis posted a combined .233 batting average with eleven home runs and 51 runs batted in. Ike Davis has not seemed to have found a niche. Since he hit 32 home runs in the 2012 season, he has struggled mightily. In 2013, Davis was demoted to Triple-A. A trade to Miami might help him. The Marlins have a lot of power and a lot of young players on their team. Giancarlo Stanton is a big power source for the Marlins, as he hit 37 home runs and drove in 105 runs in the 2014 campaign. If the Pirates were to trade Davis to the Marlins, who do you think the Pirates would/should acquire?
