Williams Re-Signs
Veteran staring pitcher Jerome Williams was re-signed to a one-year contract by the Philadelphia Phillies. Williams, 33 on December 4, pitched for three different teams in the 2014 season. Pitching for the Houston Astros, Texas Rangers, and Philadelphia Phillies, Williams compiled a record of (6-7) with a 4.77 ERA. In his career, Williams has appeared in 192 games with the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, Los Angeles Angels, Astros, Rangers, and Phillies and has compiled a record of (48-54) with a 4.40 ERA.
