Youkilis to Retire
Former Boston Red Sox infielder Kevin Youkilis announced that he will retire. Youkilis, 35, played in 1061 games with the Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, and New York Yankees. Youkilis has a career batting average of .281 with 150 home runs and 618 runs batted in. He is a three-time All Star. Youkilis also won a Rawlings Gold Glove in 2007, as well as a World Series title with the Red Sox in the same year.
