Ross Ohlendorf Elects Free Agency
The Washington Nationals outrighted pitcher Ross Ohlendorf. Ohlendorf rejected the outright assignment and decided to become a free agent. Ohlendorf, 32, has pitched in 124 games with the New York Yankees, Pittsburgh Pirates, San Diego Padres, and Nationals. In his career, Ohlendorf has compiled a record of (22-33) with a 4.88 ERA. Ohlendorf last appeared in the Major Leagues with the Nationals in 2013.
