Tigers Exercise Soria
The Detroit Tigers announced that they have exercised the 2015 option for pitcher Joakim Soria. The 30-year-old reliever will make $7 million in the 2015 season. In seven Major League seasons with the Kansas City Royals, Texas Rangers, and Detroit Tigers, Soria has compiled a record of (16-19) with a 2.58 ERA and 178 saves. Soria has also had trips to the All Star Game in 2008 and 2010.
