Royals Claim Moises Sierra Off Waivers
The Kansas City Royals have claimed outfielder Moises Sierra off waivers from the Chicago White Sox. Sierra, 26, split the 2014 season with the White Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays. Having appeared in 180 career games with the Blue Jays and White Sox, Sierra has recorded a batting average of .243 with nine home runs and 37 runs batted in.
