Interest in Adam Lind
The Toronto Blue Jays have been receiving many calls from teams who are interested in first baseman and designated hitter Adam Lind. Lind, 31, has a $7.5 million option for 2015 and an $8 million option for 2016. Lind has appeared in 953 games with the Blue Jays and has recorded a batting average of .273 with 146 home runs and 519 runs batted in. Since some of the teams who are interested in Adam Lind are National League teams, could the Pirates be one of those teams?
