Tim Lincecum Leaves Game 2
San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum left Game 2 of the World Series with an apparent injury. After throwing a pitch, Lincecum appeared to stumble and started complaining about the mound. He was then removed from the game and taken to the clubhouse. Santiago Casilla replaced Lincecum and continued the at bat with a 2-2 count on Royals catcher Salvador Perez. Casilla only needed one pitch, as Perez swung and missed at the offering to end the eighth inning. After the game, it was announced that Lincecum left with a tight lower back. Lincecum is now listed as day-to-day.
