Phillies Decline Mike Adams' Option

The Philadelphia Phillies announced that they have declined the 2015 option on pitcher Mike Adams. Adams, who would make $6 million with the option, appeared in 22 games with the Phillies in 2014 where he compiled a record of (2-1) with a 2.89 ERA. Adams has appeared in 408 games with the Milwaukee Brewers, San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, and Phillies. He has a career record of (21-20) with a 2.41 ERA and four saves.
