Rangers Acquire Ross Detwiler

The Texas Rangers acquired pitcher Ross Detwiler from the Washington Nationals in exchange for pitcher Abel De Los Santos and infielder Chris Bostick. Detwiler, 29 in March, has pitched in 132 career games for the Nationals. He has a career record of (20-32) with a 3.82 ERA and one save. He has also pitched one career complete game. De Los Santos, 22, spent the 2014 season with the Los Vegas Train Robbers, an independent league team. In five games, he compiled a record of (0-1) with a 4.24 ERA. Bostick, 22 in March, spent the 2014 season with Class-A Myrtle Beach. In 130 games, he hit .251 with 11 home runs and 62 runs batted in.
